Privacy Policy
Last updated July 7, 2026
This policy explains what AllergyTable collects, why, and who it is shared with. We keep it minimal on purpose. Plain language over legalese.
What we collect
- Your allergy profile (the allergens you select and whether traces matter). By default this lives only on your device. If you create an account, it is saved to your account so it follows you.
- Restaurant searches you run. We log the restaurant, the result, cost, and any errors, to cache answers, improve coverage, monitor for problems, and prevent abuse.
- Account details if you sign in: your email and basic profile from your sign-in provider (for example Google). We do not receive your password.
- Basic analytics (page views, general usage) to understand what is working.
What we do NOT collect
No health records, no diagnoses, no payment details (there is nothing to pay for during the beta). Your allergy profile is preference data you choose to enter, not medical information we obtain about you.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of trusted providers to run the service:
- Supabase for the database and accounts
- Vercel for hosting
- Anthropic to read menu text and produce the allergen report
- Google for restaurant lookup (Places) and analytics
- Search and fetch providers used to find and read public restaurant pages
We do not sell your personal data.
Your choices
- Use it without an account. Your profile stays on your device and you can clear it anytime.
- Ask us to delete your account and associated data. Email privacy@allergytable.com.
Questions

AllergyTable is a research assistant, not medical advice. Menus change and kitchens vary. Always confirm directly with restaurant staff before eating.
